Lluís Danés
Film and theater director. As set designer he has worked with the Spanish National Ballet in Lorca's El Café de Chinitas staging, that's still touring around the world.
Recently he has authored the visual theatre and circus shows Tranuites Circus and Llits.
The audiovisual takes an important role on his set designs and in 2007 creates with Lila Pla the production company Santamandra. He has directed the documentary film Llach: la Revolta Permanent, and Eleanor's Dream (commemorative film for the 60 years of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights). He directed for "Art for Amnesty" (NGO Amnesty International), one of the ads promoting the Small Places Tour with Michael Stipe, Peter Gabriel and the Edge from U2. Recently Lluís started working in animation transferring to other formats his experience and sensibility. Danés signs the idents of TV3 program Ànima and the new image for Catalonian channel 33.
