Carles Porta
Illustrator, graphic designer and audiovisual creator. As illustrator Carles has worked for publications such as La Vanguardia's magazine, El Periódico de Cataluña, El Víbora, El TBO or Cavall Fort. He is the creator of Animac's -International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia- image since 1997, and he was awarded the Jules Geret award in Annecy to the best festival image in the world. Since 2001 he consolidates his experience as a director with the shortfilm Francesc lo Valent, produced by Folimage (France), the TV channel Arte and the Canadian ONF. This film has been awarded in various international festivals, obtaining among others the Quality Award 2003 of the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animée). His newest film is Vidas Ejemplares. Carles has been commissioned communication projects by both public and private institutions.
